An experimental adventure to reset standards proving you don’t need to wreck the wild to explore it.

The Ghostship - A development platform with one thing in mind - Electric sailing from Arctic to Antarctic.

The first fully clean energy research and development expedition. We’re set to test the ship and its innovations whilst also taking adventurers to the extremes.

Focused on developing technology and accessing the hardest parts of our world using only clean energy. In 2027 we’re sharing our leave no trace message with leading adventurers along the way.

What's happening in 2027

the 2026 season!

A New boat! Floated for the first time.

Rescued from a Swiss field, re-engineered for electric and modified to suit the new motor.

Launched into the worst drought Europe has ever seen and sailed 1000km using electric dinghy outboards and a kite.

We made it to the UK for the Southampton boatshow after several groundings and some serious data collection.

Now we’re ready for the next stage... The full rig, sails and motors, but hold fast and hang on... this is no ordinary ride!

This is GhostShip.

The Ghostship Project is a purpose-driven boatbuild specifically for expeditions exploring how far we can go with minimal impact.

Through real-world testing, development and a storytelling platform, it proves what works- beyond theory, in the environments that matter.
